Verano Offers Legitimate Luxury

If you want luxury in a small car, you were mostly out of luck until Buck introduced the Verano. This vehicle offers high-end features on both the inside and outside. Combined with the optional turbo engine, the car delivers legitimate luxury in a small frame. For those wanting an elegant ride, here are four reasons the 2017 Buick Verano is hard to beat.

Even when you throw in German brands, there are not many small luxury cars. That is especially true in Detroit, where automakers have saved lavishness exclusively for Lincolns and Cadillacs. Buck nicely positions itself as a luxurious alternative to foreign cars. With five leather seats, dual-zone climate control, and seven-inch display screen, the Verano provides extreme comfort for both driver and passengers.

If you are in the market for a luxury sedan, you probably want a vehicle that has the appearance of status. The Verano certainly delivers in this regard. With large alloy wheels and a low profile, the car exudes class. This vehicle will certainly look at home among fancy, foreign sedans.

With a 2.4-liter, four-cylinder engine, the 2017 Verano delivers 180 horsepower to give the driver sufficient power to maneuver in traffic and cruise down the highway. If you want a truly impressive driving experience, though, opt for the turbo package. That will get you from zero to 60 in about 6.6 seconds. Even better, the EPA estimates a gallon of gas will take this model about twenty-five miles down the road. That isn’t bad for a vehicle in this class.

The Verano is one of the safest small cars on the market. This car comes with antilock brakes, airbags, and stability control. Most versions also have collision avoidance systems.

If you want a luxurious ride in a small vehicle, it is hard to beat the impressiveness of the 2017 Buick Verano. Paul Sadlon Motors has the right luxury car for any buyer.

What to Consider When Buying a Car

When buying a car, I have three main considerations: great price, reliability, and a stress free purchase. It takes some effort, but all are easily attainable with the proper research and preparation.

Short and Long Term Financial Impacts

When I’m researching which car to buy, the purchase price is of utmost importance. But there are many other factors that impact the cost of a vehicle. I always consider fuel economy, cost of maintenance, re-sale value, and financing options as well. After all, a car is a long term purchase, so it’s imperative to consider my long term budget when deciding which car to buy.

Don’t Buy a Lemon

The internet is my most valuable tool when purchasing a car, but there are other ways to gain information about a particular vehicle. If I know someone who owns my target car, I will ask them all the same questions I ask the internet. Does it ride well? Is it reliable? What do you like about it? What do you dislike about it? This information is invaluable, but the other key factor is a test drive. I always test drive multiple cars before making a decision. No second hand information can replace the actual driving experience.

When looking at a ratio of reliability and cost, the 2016 Chevrolet Spark fits the bill. Its combination of style, fuel efficiency and top notch features all rolled into a very affordable price make it the ideal target for this vehicle segment.

One Stop Shopping

Now that I’ve found my car, I need to ensure an efficient, stress free purchasing experience. At Paul Sadlon Motors, I can procure competitive financing rates, negotiate the lowest price and receive top-notch service all under one roof. Returning to the same dealer year after year for maintenance ensures that my new car will run reliably. Not only is this a factor for me, but it’s a great selling point should I ever decide to re-sell my 2016 Chevrolet Spark.

2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 officially rated at 650 HP

As if we needed more proof we lived in a golden age for horsepower and performance, GM has dished details on the 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 and 1LE.

Due to go on-sale later this year, the 2017 Camaro ZL1 will pump out a whopping 650 horsepower from its supercharged 6.2-litre V8 engine. Though not as powerful as the Dodge Challenger Hellcat, the optional 10-speed automatic transmission lets the ZL1 sprint from zero to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds and complete a quarter-mile run in 11.4 seconds at about 204 km/h.

No matter how you slice it, the Camaro ZL1 is fast on the dragstrip. But it’s not just a straight-line missile; Chevrolet says the ZL1 comes to a complete stop from 100 km/h in 32 metres and GM’s Magnetic Ride Control system helps pull 1.02 lateral G in cornering. Oh, and the new ZL1 is lighter than the old one by about 100 not-so-insignificant kilograms.

2017 Chevrolet Camaro V6 1LE and SS 1LE

Handout, Chevrolet

The Camaro 1LE models, on the other hand, promise to be just as capable. Camaro SS 1LEs run from rest-to-100 km/h in 4.2 seconds and pull as much lateral G and stop as quickly as the ZL1, while being about 104 kilograms lighter than the old SS 1LE.

The V6-powered Camaro 1LE, on the other hand, reaches 100 km/h in 5.2 seconds, comes to a complete stop from 100 km/h in 34 metres and pulls 0.97 lateral G when cornering. Not bad at all.

In the U.S., the 1LE package on V6 and V8 Camaros will retail for $4,500 and $6,500 respectively, while the 2017 Camaro ZL1 will start at $62,135. Canadian pricing and availability details have yet to be announced.
